C and C++

Like any other street drug, C, or its more potent form, C++, destroys the brain while nonetheless producing a profound euphoria and optimism that any problem can be solved if you just throw more ASCII (none of european crap) characters at it.

Sadly, like tobacco, the menace came to society's attention too late, and now a powerful industry has sprung up around it to lobby against any government control.
