XEmacs is a highly customizable open source text editor and application development system. It contains an Lisp interpreter for a Lisp dialect called Emacs Lisp. We mainly work on XEmacs memory manager, focussing on the allocator, the mark algorithm and incremental and other advanced garbage collection techniques.
